The concept was that of a fallen goddess ~ Buns sits within the sky, a burning planet placed behind her. From her mouth spews magics of white and red, in an almost 3D effect. I’ve left her body barely adorned in black fabrics and black feathers, with some metallic points to lift the darkness and match the white-points of the image. To play on the idea of a fallen goddess or angel, she has black wings wrapping around herself, and smaller black wings covering her eyes and head. Stars litter the sky (the heavens) which are partially blurred by grain effect layered over the gpose. This has darkened the overall image, which is high contrast with slight green undertones to really bring out the reds and darks. I wanted it to feel ethereal or surreal, so added the slightest 3D effect across it, so there is an electric highlight. I’ve carefully removed this from places, so her features aren’t lost.
