Oh, I have! And I cannot get it to peak, and I did all kinds of human and infected passes. There’s a few little things I like that I hope they improve on, like there’s a built in talkback function, but I want to use an external mic.
Found the answer:
When you enable Clip Safe, your Scarlett continuously monitors your input signals, up to 96,000 times a second, and through a combination of analogue preamp adjustment and DSP, Clip Safe significantly reduces the risk of clipping. - so far it really works well! Need to test more
It seems like 32bit but your sessions don’t need to be 32 bit. Doesn’t sound like a limiter, not crushed, and doesn’t feel like a gain ride either. It’s pretty cool. I need to deep dive a bit more into the tech

Recently upgraded our recording interface to the 4th gen Focusrite 18i20 and really enjoy the peak safe feature! For multicast recording I’m excited to not have to worry about peaking anymore. We’ve been testing it out, and so far so good! Was a very welcome upgrade from gen 1! 👌
