My god, Dynamo Brewing & Beverage (brewery #3957) in Chattanooga is a Beer Geek Paradise. Tank pours of clean lagers, cask pours of English and Scottish style beers, and all around good vibes. Highly recommend.

They’re definitely having a minor comeback!

First stop in Chattanooga: Five Wits Brewing Company (brewery #3955), where the broad beer list really impressed. Great Czech Pils and Black IPA!

Mild Excitement New York celebrates beer and Grimm announces new outpost

In this week's newsletter, a new outpost for Grimm Artisanal Ales and a visit to a Philly-area brewery known for their love of milds in March.

This bar typically has Blind Pig or Pliny the Elder on tap and has done PTY releases in the past!

It’s in Philly! Jose Pistolas, where I assumed they hadn’t updated their online menu in a few days, but sure enough, it was still on.

Okay, fine, I’ll have a Pliny The Younger.

I speak from experience — it really is great during the summer!

El oh fucking el. $22.49 before tax and tip for this 19.2 ounce can of Stone IPA. After tax and tip, it was over $28. Highway robbery. I hope the Kings lose by 6 goals.

That is a shockingly reasonable price for a half pint of Bigfoot. A bar in New York City was recently selling an 8-ounce pour for $10.

I love that James Watt feels badly enough about Tilray wiping out the Equity for Punks program to go the Guardian and complain about it, but not quite badly enough to reach into his own pocket and give any of their money back.
