With that being said, for anyone who enjoyed the 100%ing aspect of the Crash trilogy, I'm a huge advocator of the "Crash 4 N.Hanced" mod, which addresses every single issue I had with the completionist side of the game, making it a lot more fun to do. Big recommend for collect-a-thon fans (2/2)

As has everyone already said, the difference between a casual run and a 100% run of Crash 4 will make or break the game, but that's especially with the context that I personally found Crash 1-3 very fun to 100% in a kind of collect-a-thony way. (1/2)

I decided to re-register an account to enjoy the memes of our 1990s #MoonChild game. 😁👍

I designed Hoi and Moon Child. Reinier van Vliet coded it, and Ramon Braumuller made the soundtrack.

Fixed an oversight when entering the Field room with the first Beware Awhoo enemy, while playing with the new enemy designs. By accident, during the little intro sequence that plays when you enter the room for the first time, the game ends up loading both the old & the new ghost designs at the same time, when it should've only loaded the new designs. As a result, after the cutscene is over, you can move the camera over to the topmost part of the room, and spy the the old design ghosts just frozen there, stuck and unmoving. This should have been remedied now.

That's all for now, just something I noticed while watching a friend play the game, and it threw me for a fuckin' loop that I let it slip by for this many months. If you're hoping for something more substantial though, like, say, an update on 3.0, well, I do have some good news to share! But that's for next week.

Damn, that's a tragedy... it's a beautiful looking film, maybe the most striking one I've seen Ghibli ever put out, I would kill to see it on a big screen

The Slay the Princess devs are also in the middle of making Scarlet Hollow, to which I've also heard had a very impressive variety of choice and branching consequence. I've been meaning to get around to it sometime

Closest I came to insane degree of dialogue choices beyond Disco Elysium was Slay the Princess. That was a game where I quickly learned that just doing every choice from top to bottom was a bad way to play it, and you should choose what you earnestly feel.

It's good! As someone who played FF6 right before Chrono, it didn't have like, "the best game ever" impact on me like it seems to have on most, but like, it's a fun and pleasant RPG, and that much is all I should expect from any game of this genre

With that series, I'm up to Romancing SaGa 3 as of now. Lots of fascinating mechanical ideas in these games (Especially Romancing 2), but the pace is not working for me. For a game that removes random encounters, the amount of battling is more ridiculous than any other RPG I've ever played

The funniest part was that I played FF2 PR prior to them doing the update that actually informed you that wearing armor heavily weakens magic. Would've been nice to know this extremely crucial part of gameplay right away!

Too late lol, I played every single Final Fantasy up to 7. Ain't gonna put it down as an objective skip because I know other people appreciate it for other reasons, but yeah even on the Pixel Remaster it was terribly grindy, and pretty dull after you get the healing cane.

Something fascinating is, prior to playing FF7, I've spent maybe too much time with RPG's that reuse a lot of the same tilesets across towns and dungeons. Going into FF7, where every room is a new screenshot for the early 90's CG gimmick account, like, fuck. The bar being set is impossibly high
