Nine months ago, the United States "completely and totally obliterated" Iran's nuclear program.

Tonight, we're attacking Iran to disrupt their nuclear program.

A sizable percentage of this country thinks that's normal.

I can’t quite put it into words, but Trump praising Mamdani on the same day that MTG resigns in opposition to “big Tech, big Pharma, the war complex and big donors” feels like a harbinger of realignment.

There is a political earthquake trembling beneath the surface waiting to break through.

Mamdani is going to bring him that snowglobe that plays "Memories" from CATS and we're going to get government grocery stores nationwide

I really didn't think Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries could look more out of touch. Then the president just exchanged friendship bracelets with Zohran.

zohran is going to personally escort trump to a broadway show in his first month as mayor and immediately be given a blank check to reshape new york more than anyone since robert moses.

Zohran Mamdani did to Trump through sheer charm what it took Elon Musk a thousand engineers to do to Grok

i'm seeing so many folks on IG freaking out over this zohran/trump meeting and i need people to realize what zohran did today was political brilliance. all he did was smile and trump just rolled the fuck over, the fascists get exposed for being dumb and fragile, and the dems look like fools again.

Huge victory for Zohran Mamdani in the Oval Office. He stuck to his guns, spoke about affordability, proudly declared himself a Democratic Socialist, condemned genocide in Gaza, did not back down from calling Trump a “fascist,” and still got Trump to praise him, undermining months of GOP attacks.

Not only has he never looked at Don Jr. or Eric like this, he’s never been so happy to bask in JD Vance’s presence either.

He looks giddy. JOYFUL even.

Is Zohran a witch

Q: “Are you affirming you think Trump is a fascist?”

TRUMP: “That’s ok, you can just say yes.”

ZOHRAN: “Ok. Yes.”

in the last decade we’ve been cursed to have trump ruin the world and politics, i’ve maybe only seen him smile the way he smiled at zohran mamdani for like, 3 other people ever

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

Women are watching abusive dynamics play out on the national stage and for many it feels very, very familiar to what they’ve experienced regularly—

I hope midterms are a referendum

The controversy over daylight saving time: evidence for and against

Michael C Antle. Curr Opin Pulm Med. 2023.

Abstract

Purpose of review: Biannual clock changes to and from daylight saving time have been pervasive in many societies for over 50 years. Governments are considering abandoning this practice and choosing a single permanent time.

Recent findings: Our endogenous circadian clock follows our photoperiod, which changes over the year. The acute disruption caused by changing our clocks can affect safety (motor vehicle and on the job accidents), health (cardiovascular disease, drug overdoses, suicide), and human behavior (sport performance, generosity, and procrastination). Although abandoning the clock change could help avoid these acute harms, choosing the wrong permanent time could lead to chronic circadian misalignment, which could have even more profound implications for health, safety, and human behavior.

Summary: Ceasing the biannual clock change may be a…

The Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly shared state voter-registration data with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), despite earlier assurances to state election officials that the information would only be used for routine voter-list maintenance. Beginning in May 2025, DOJ

For more than 200 days, the Federal Election Commission hasn't been able to function because Trump won't nominate any new commissioners.

Restoring quorum is the bare minimum to have any safeguards against corruption.

The integrity of our elections is on the line.
