In Paris for a while and enjoying having the marché on our doorstep and thinking of Louis MacNeice’s line about the world being “incorrigibly plural…the drunkenness of things being various.” The rain is falling but Djaffar gives us gifts of parsley and coriander. We go home laden with good things.
