Well it at least puts into perspective what we’ve been achieving for the past four seasons. Yes it’ll be gutting to win nothing this year (if that happens) but my word, it could be a whole lot worse. We’re dining at the right table. They’re waving people into the car park.

I think, if we keep that crop we had yday fit and get Timber back, it’s doable. If City win out then it is what it is. I think they have at least one more slip up in them. They’re still not fully convincing me.
Fuck it. Deduct the 60 points now and relegate them, even if it means Middlesex stay up.
Sadly, painful, morning gents. Still think we can win all five and take it to the wire. But when all is said and done, does it ultimately come down to who has the elite attacking talent as Elliot has been saying on AVP? #arsecastextra
Of course, no football club can take a moral high ground, but I do think it’s quite clear the way City have operated is significantly worse than most others in the country, barring maybe Chelsea under Abramovich.
I think that’s where a lot of it comes from. A serious amount of people in glass houses throwing stones!
Wanting City to win the league is like supporting racist/far right politics. Hoping criminals and bad ethics succeed at expense of hard workers. Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised, given the state of the world? AFC get slammed for not being entertaining. How entertaining is 115 winning every year? Odd.
Tell 'em Dec! 😤
It’s a one team league with the occasional different winner. It’s basically the German Bundesliga
Gotta admit, would be very funny if Unai did a job for us to win it on the final day of the season. Maybe an Ollie Watkins goal for the childhood gooner? Maybe that’s what it’s all been building towards? Tryna stay positive here, can you tell?
Well, at least I’ll probably find 115 ways to get over it if Arsenal do finish second again
Exactly! Ahh I’m sorry, X is awful. I came off there a long time ago. Keep the faith! It’s all we can do. No point giving up now. If we win five, we have a chance and that’s all we can do!
Some things are more important in life. Had a great big cuddle with my daughter before putting her to bed and it sure does cheer you up quickly ☺️
Fine margins, of course. Hit the post twice too, but didn't defend either goal well enough, Haaland too strong for Gabriel for their second. The Brazilian probably lucky not to see red as well.
This title race is gonna go down to the wire. And the wire feels like it's electrocuting my heart.
Let’s hope so 🙏
Well said. We’re all hurting but people take out their own issues on a football team I think. I’m devastated but there’s still a lot of football to play and this team need our support more than ever. I’ll be there against Newcastle and these boys have my full backing. Five wins needed. We can do it.
Agreed, if we don’t win the league, it most definitely wasn’t because of today. It was the car crash performances against Wolves and Bournemouth and things like the howling error against United that I will look back and say “that’s where we blew it”. Still feel the Wolves game was the one for me.
Gotta fight til the end, Phil! Still a lot of football to play and we did look better today than we have done since the international break. We have to win out now and pray they draw just one game. It’s feasible.
I have a weird feeling after that game. I thought a defeat would leave me feeling it was over. But I’m still not sure. Momentum is with City without a doubt. But I do still think we can win out from here. And then we just have to pray they just draw once (because I think they’ll have better GD).
@arsenalvisionpodcast.com I think you are right, Elliot. The foundations are all there for arsenal but elite attacking talent is what wins you big trophies and we simply just do not have it. That’s ultimately going to be the difference I fear. Our attacking numbers just aren’t title-winning. Gutted.
*sync I mean of course. High heart rate doesn’t help trying to type 😂
I think that was a good half by Arsenal. Seeing a lot of comments about Gary Neville… major advice, watch it on silent or sink up to the Arsenal comms. Much, much more enjoyable than brainless narrative driving. Don’t let anyone tell you that wasn’t a solid half. Keep going lads.
Hard to say before a ball is kicked but I like the line up. We’ve been crying out for technicians and we’ve gone all out. Glad to see Odegaard and Eze playing in the same team. Timber would’ve been perfect but nothing wrong with solidity at the back and creativity up top. Come on Arsenal!
I was at that game - my first ever away game as an Arsenal fan. Hoping that’s a sign or some sort of good omen. Somehow…
It was all pretty stodgy & we're a bit lucky not to concede late in the half. Raya got lucky with a terrible pass, & they hit the post.
The front 3 isn't working again (surprise), Martinelli the brightest of them, Eze working in flashes, Zubi having a decent game, but not a lot to be positive about
I just don’t think you can do anything with that front 3. They just have the technical quality of a fridge
How on earth is that a free kick? Absolutely ridiculous
Just lacking so much confidence, cohesion, decisiveness and aggression in the final third. Not a great combo. It’s putting so much more pressure on the other two thirds of the pitch. Come on Arsenal.
Doesn’t stick with any of this front three either does it. Painful stuff at times
For all the stick Arsenal get, is it not quite clear to see that injuries are threatening to derail our season for the second successive year? I get the argument we added depth but you can’t be without five starters at this time of year and succeed (Timber, Calafiori, Merino, Odegaard, Saka)
