Without long-term solutions to London’s housing crisis, people will be forced out of the capital.
For families, this is already happening. Inner London is becoming increasingly 'child free'.
Across the capital, pupil numbers are expected to fall by 22,000 by 2028 - double the national average.
132 years ago this cartoon was drawn, and in 132 years the problem has only gotten worse.

Special report from @liamthorp.bsky.social as numbers of rough sleepers & those in temporary accommodation in city is soaring, with charities & services at breaking point

Such an insightful thread.
We are feeling the consent/community vs tracking/data crunch here when it comes to talk of notify systems and safeguarding practices so much at the moment. 'Reporting' to services that are at best overwhelmed and at worst hostile feels icky, esp without consent.
