Claude Chat has some amount of compression for longer conversations, but eventually just gives up with an error message. Rude! So I used the Claude Exporter Chrome extension to download the conversation in markdown format (< 600k), fed it into a new Claude conversation and kept right on going. Nice!
Then I said: "Now that's more like it! How could I have improved my initial prompt to get to this list with you the first time around?"
And I got the best answer! The LLM told me all about why my initial prompt didn't yield what I wanted and how to do it better next time. 5/5. #recommended
I stumbled onto an interesting prompting technique today. I asked a question about task manager mcp servers and got a lot of projects that could be wrapped in mcp servers but didn't have one themselves. Frustrating. So I pushed back, clarified and got a great list back. Nothing special there.
I’m fallen immediately in love with the LM Council: lmcouncil.ai. The UX is lovely and the results are fascinating. #recommended
