It doesn’t take a perfect plan.
It takes people willing to try.

In their neighborhood.
With their kids.
On their streets.

That’s the #BikeBus.

Saw a cute little video from a library parodying truck ads, except it’s a book truck (cart/trolley). The voiceover said IF IT ISN’T STRONG ENOUGH TO CARRY THE WHOLE 900 SECTION, IT ISN’T LIBRARY TOUGH.

Lying here trying to sleep, it hit me.

The 900 section is the world.

I think I'm the only one who likes the clowns are a species jokes, but by GOD I love them.

Ok where can I order these and if you can get people to contribute $500 to my Multiple Sclerosis bike ride I'll eat them on camera.

If that brand is not available I'll go with this

This is Nessie and Millie. Neither of them ever really learned how to dig, but Millie is pretty sure it's like giving CPR. 12/10 no one tell her (TT: millieandazula)

I’ve posted it before, but it feels evergreen

The two hardest problems in Computer Science are

1. Human communication
2. Getting people in tech to believe that human communication is important

Dear Mr Vernon:

people see stormwater basins as they want to see them—in the simplest terms, the most convenient definitions.

what we found out is that each one of them is a flood preventer…

a habitat….

a pollutant filter….

and a feature.

does that answer your question?

The framing on men and academic achievement was always sus.

It was never “yay! Girls are succeeding!”

It was always “oh no! Boys are falling behind!”

Even when girls/women are showing agency, the framing strips it from them and poses their success not as success but as men’s failure.
