I had a break from Bluesky because I got inundated with those saddo scammers. I’ve been persuaded to give it another try. I want this to work 🤞🤞🤞

Just coming up the end of a marathon writing session - a short story and a commentary for my MA. I ache everywhere, even my eyeballs. What is this compulsion that makes some ppl obsessed with words 🤷♀️
NEVER buy a book written by AI. If you buy one you create a market and therein lies the slippery slope to a soulless creative desert while simultaneously making some fucker very rich (clue- it’s not a writer).
Thank you Aggie x
Thank you!
Wow thank you for those!
Thank you so much for that. Very thought provoking. And the last line is heartbreaking.
Thank you. I’ll check it out.
Thank you. I’ll check it out. I’m sure I’ve read something by Flannery O’Connor before and it’s driving me nuts trying to remember what it was!
Thank you for those. I’ll try and get my hands on them! George Saunders is on our reading list so I’ll certainly get to that at some point.
Short stories. The subject of this term’s module. Anyone got a favourite?

That face though. This dog can get anything out of me with that face 😍😍😍
Watched half of 1st episode of #playingnice but not impressed. As if baby-swops wasn’t a dramatic enough subject to explore, it followed the path of endless current dramas by ignoring character development and creating a ludicrous and convoluted plot with more holes than Steptoe’s socks.

Just finished watching #Lockerbie It really is a tough watch but worth it. The quest for justice by the father of one of the victims is heartbreaking and inspiring. Fascinating legal battle and the politics behind it all just gobsmacking. Colin Firth does a grand job as usual.
I’m just about to start this. I read and loved Oranges are not the Only Fruit years ago followed by the extraordinary Sexing the Cherry back on the 90s. No idea why I’ve left it so long for more Jeanette Winterson. #writingcommunity #amwritingfiction #litfic #womenwriters #literaryfiction

It doesn’t take me long to forget everything these days, then I can watch it again for the first time! 😁
Oh God yes! It was so emotional. I can’t believe they left it so long to make the second series. Maybe she would have see. It if they had been a bit quicker. I enjoyed re-watching it though!
Absolutely!
Me too! I was heartbroken but couldn’t explain why. Just such unbelievably good acting I guess!
