Something about the NASA astronauts suggesting names for the newly discovered craters and people’s reaction to it reminds me that there is still good here. No matter how much Donald Trump wants to destroy goodness and empathy and care… there’s still some fucking good here.

Got out of the meeting to news that someone on my caseload passed away this morning. Someone I spent a lot of time with and got to know them and their family really well. This is the tough part of this job.

So… basically I’m going to burn all of my PTO pretty soon. I’m… spent.

So I woke up and stressed out immediately because people were already getting on my case about the technical side of things. Went to meeting for someone who has shown VAST improvement over the last couple of years, so I got to pump him up a little bit.

I work in the field I work in because I truly care about the people I support. I want them to get the proper care they need and to be treated like human beings in the process. It’s the paperwork and inner office side of things that I hate and that’s the part that usually causes me stress.

Kinda crazy how I went from feeling stress-free and happy to be alive this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, to instantly wanting to jump off a cliff as soon as I woke up today to check my work phone.

Maybe that’s a sign.

The epilogue is usually the button to the end of the story. What happens next? Where does life go for these characters? These posts from people saying they skip them HAVE to be kidding, right?

This “prologue” and “epilogue” discourse is the stupidest fucking thing. How can these idiots not comprehend that these are essential to the story? Think of it as a movie or TV show — the prologue is the cold open. In Law and Order, that cold open sets up everything you are about to read.

Somebody else answered that it depends on the day. Totally true. My favorite band of all time! I would say today’s pick is The Millionaire Waltz!

We really were spoiled for movies in 2025, so I can’t be mad at how things shook out. I’m just so happy all of these wonderful films exist.

I’m seriously happy for all the Sinners wins on Sunday as each one of them has an incredible story, but I’ve been locked in for a long time and MBJ’s win, speech, and general demeanor on Oscar night made me cry.

Listen, I don’t know him and maybe this is just the haze I’m in being a fan for so long and am so damned happy he got his win, but Michael B. Jordan strikes me as the kind of guy that greets everyone by name on a set or at a function and just… radiates a truly positive vibe.
