Listening to podcasts and slowly reading through the core rules. My brain keeps telling me to use it to tell the stories of an off the books Section 6 unit. Duskvol circa 986 is already haunted & riddled with psychics.
Two minds it may make the horrors less impactful or would the setting synergize?

In as calm a voice as I could manage "Why is the price so high this year? Is it tariffs?" He sighed and leaned forward confidentially and said "It's a combo of things. Tariffs, fuel, shipping, but worst is that our suppliers just aren't cutting us good deals like they used to. Everybody hates us" 3/
I am not above crowdsourcing the endgame from my mob of maniacs
The early draft of Mnareth and the paper minis are now updated with the finished monster illustrations. Next step: rootmark village and brazenwood forest!
Now THAT is a pilot profile!
Great write-up from Iain, as insightful as always..!

A spread from Blades '68 featuring a Ministry of Stability propaganda poster: "Don't Let Them Burst Our Bubble", it reads, with a sinister handing holding a needle near a blue bubble.
A spread from Blades '68 showing "Life in '68", including 6 little cars/autopods in a variety of colours and styles.
A spread from Blades '68 showing Hit Squad opportunities, accompanied by an illustration of a figure silhouetted in front of a round window. The city sky is red. She holds a silenced shooter.
A spread from Blades '68 showing the Time Traveler From the Past write-up. The illustration shows a cloaked and hooded figure holding a blade, standing in a 1960s-styled apartment, looking out at the city beyond.
More art of Blades '68! It's almost out of my hands 🥲
What's your favourite origin/root of a word? (in any language) I love etymology so much. It's like history & conspiracy theories combined. Our language has secret messages & lizard DNA baked into it. Like how 'gargoyle' comes from gargle / gurgle, because of the water spewing out their mouths

Today is my birthday! And the best gift you could give me is to share my artwork 🎉
This is not an interview with teachers; this is an industry brochure secretly titled “100 Ways to Use AI” disguised as an interview with teachers. Like recipes on the back of a box of Velveeta.

a medieval woodcut style illustration of a stacked city made of walls and limbs and fire - capped with a screaming misshapen eagle-like bird. the eagle’s mouth is open and its gullet is crammed with coins. its tongue is a furling striped flag. the eagle holds bunches of arrows in both of its outstretched hands. hands reach through the doors and arches of the stacked city. the hands grab at buildings and walls and claw at mounds of coins at the city’s base. the text reads: ‘A horrid beast. a rancid, screaming infant. it knows naught but blood and hunger. it will choke on its own grasping fingers.’
a horrid beast. a rancid, screaming infant.
Ughhhh we all rag on Blizzard's storytelling, but the infuriating thing is that very, very occasionally, they go hard as diamonds on something and it shows the potential of what Blizzard could be if they put that much care, attention and thought into everything.
My prime example: Shooting Star
HOLDING THE LINE
"This is the day gentlemen. This is the day we make history."
Lancer art I did for Iphigenia at Midnight, out now.
I must once again trot out the revealing anecdote:
Disney execs were shown beautiful scenery from a superhero movie. They wanted to know what technology was used. They had to be told that the cinematographer pointed a camera at scenery that existed and photographed it. 🤯
These are not smart people
Proud to be the 5,593rd backer 😎 on @BackerKit Crowdfunding for Blades '68! www.backerkit.com/c/projects/e...
It was an absolutely pleasure to chat with Gaz and Chris about Blades '68, you can listen below or in your podcast app of choice!
Rev. Jesse Jackson's "I *am* somebody..." remains one of the all-time great pieces of 20th century rhetoric / agitprop
And he could deliver it at a Black separatist meeting, the Democratic National Convention, or on god-blessed Sesame Street (see below 🥹)
RIP to the Voice of the Voiceless
The AI bubble RAM crisis is caused for non-existent problems by non-existent money for a non-existent infrastructure to meet non-existent demand to make non-existent business and will utterly destroy real business based on real demand and real infrastructure built with real money for real problems.
An illustration in blues and reds of a bucking saddled horse. Smoke is pluming from it's mouth. Below it reads: 'Year of the Horse, 2026'
Happy Lunar New Year
Sure, Blades '68 brings an artificial sky, corporate espionage, and swingin' pop culture to Doskvol. But designer @olddog.games says he's most excited to give players more time for bants with the crew.
If someone is willing to abandon Trans "issues" what they're willing to do is abandon trans *people* and if they're willing to abandon any group of people, they're also going to be willing to abandon you.
Is this ideas guy prompting other humans for ideas, is this the thing that’s happening here
