I’m 1 for 2 on 3d printing. Little green boat was a success, little green lerobot arm was a failure.

I'm so impressed by how good the bluesky/atproto engineering is. I keep expecting it to be an all-day project to do something like clone the bluesky repo and run it locally, BUT IT ALWAYS JUST WORKS! This post is from a locally running instance of bluesky that required 0 environment variables.

It was interesting to me that he didn't seem overly enthusiastic about the decentralized social protocols. Someone asked a question about what startups should do to be sure they don't fall into the trap of enshittification, and his advice was to remove the enshittification toolset from your arsenal

Pluralistic: Bluesky creates the world’s weirdest, hardest-to-understand binding arbitration clause (15 Aug 2025) – Pluralistic: Daily links from Cory Doctorow

Cory Doctorow event last night was great! I asked him about Bluesky and he said he really didn't like the binding arbitration clause in the terms of service, I looked for more information and the first match was his article pluralistic.net/2025/08/15/d...

I this this term was regarding the sprk.so project and was in the context of letting others remix videos via stitching or whatever, tik-tok style
