Right 😭 technically photoshop cs6 extended edition has 3D tools where you can paint on the model but the interface is sooo archaic and bad that it’s not worth even trying. Praying blender someday makes their painting tools more robust or someone makes a substance painter alternative

I feel ya, I have to go back and forth quite a lot between blender and photoshop when doing this- I first paint basic texture on the model in blender, then open it in photoshop and paint extra details while reloading the psd in blender to see how it looks on the model

Thank youuu! I usually do a mixture of hand painting and photobashing for my textures. For grunge effects I make a solid white filled layer and set it to color burn on top of the other layers, and I take various textured brushes and paint to add some grunginess.
