Never forget that the primary tactic of this movement is distraction. They point to medical statements, procedural wins and tangentially related anecdotes because *they have no evidence of their core claim*

EVENTUALLY HE GOT A COCHLEAR IMPLANT. REMEMBER IT HELPED BUT CAME WITH ITS OWN CHALLENGES. HE WORKED ON A COMIC ABOUT IT. HE MADE LOTS OF COOL COMICS. HE WAS SO TALENTED. OVER THE NEXT MANY YEARS, DALTON & I HUNG OUT, SOMETIMES BY DESIGN AND SOMETIMES JUST IN THE SAME CIRCLES. DALTON WAS ALWAYS STYLISH AND DROVE A MOTORCYLE. HE WAS SUPER COOL.

My old friend Dalton, brilliant illustrator, kindest friend, has died. It’s so sad, I’m so sad, as are so many people. The first thing anyone says, whether they knew him 30 years ago or today, is how kind he was — what an amazing legacy. Lots of love to his family and all his loved ones 💔

Hey everyone, I have a new story out showing how the sausage got made in the new NYT podcast on youth gender-affirming care.
It's pretty ugly - my source refused to participate in the podcast so reporters used audio of her captured in public against her will.
the thing about the NYT releasing a podcast about trans healthcare is that if it’s not the story of how the alliance defending freedom captured the most influential liberal media outlet in the us and got it to provide a veneer of scientism to a bigoted religious crusade, what is it about?
When the Cass Review came out last year, the NYT rushed to cover it complete with post notifications. After reviews in Germany and Utah came out supporting gender affirming care for trans youth, dead silence. You can be just as biased in what you don't cover as what you do.
