I've been feeling increasingly recently that I do not belong in this fandom. That I am, with a few (appreciated!) exceptions, not wanted in it. And I don't know what to do with that. I've built most of my life around the pony fandom and the people I've met through it since 2019.

I'm so fucking tired of grieving. Five and a half fucking years. Five and a half years they've lived rent free in my broken brain while in real life they probably don't even remember I exist. I want to let go and move on but I don't know if I can. This grief will die with me.

The trans panic is maddening, because trans people are expected to defend ourselves with logic science and any sign of emotion is a failure.

And yet the anti-trans campaign is nothing but appeals to emotion unburdened by facts, precedent, or empathy.
