2023 - Foxxo en el Oxxo

I drew this one while I was visiting family down in Mexico after vacationing in Mazatlán. While I ate some excellent food there, I still found myself picking up snacks from nearby Oxxos nearly every day!

I've been using Macs for over 30 years and imo nothing beats the simplicity of System 7! Great for "distraction-free" productivity (but probably not as hardcore as MS-DOS or some Unix flavor over the terminal).

Yeah, these would have cost a pretty penny back in the day! What did they use them for, video editing?

Coloring this in with Photoshop 3.0.5 was pretty straightforward, the small number of layers made this go rather smoothly. Perhaps I should try drawing something more ambitious at a higher resolution to REALLY push the Quadra 840av to its limits.

Starting off the year with a quick doodle made on this 1993 Quadra 840av I recently acquired, the most powerful of the 68k Macintoshes ever released!

Mostly stock save for the Radius video card + ZuluSCSI for SD card + WiFi. Awaiting a 128MB RAM upgrade for some Photoshop shenanigans later!
