I think it's also sky staying relevant. Sky is transitioning to being a streamer - satellites will be decommissioned in 2030. So why pay for Sky? Because it's bundled with all these other servives

To be fair economics isn't so much a science, more look at the tea leaves & make a prediction
Why in 2026 do I have to queue up to have my little paper booklet stamped? I should have the chip scanned, biometrics compared, api call to UK border control done, all in the time it takes to pay on the underground
Come get some
Perhaps the government should repeal all criminal legislation apart from the terrorism act. You can proscribe & prosecute anyone you like then
Immich is very cool, but has some quirks you need to be ready for. If you share your photos with family, it's not as easy as it should be. Imported photos are stored separately to day-to-day photos. If you host the ml container, it can hog resources
I guess it's a mix. A person aligns themselves with a party that represents their values. That helps you understand where they stand on a range of issues. When an MP votes, they are expected to vote with the party, so doesn't really matter what you think of the person if you disagree with the party
I thought you voted for the party represented by the person. I get the idea of this, but I don't think it'll have any impact, since people are unlikely to change who they voted for
Perhaps if your biggest complaint with a TV show is there's not enough white people, then perhaps you're a bit racist.
If you do look into heat pumps, the heat geek folks seem to be ones to go for. Seen a few things on YouTube & people only have good things to say about them
I had ours fitted in May. Even in Dec with little sun we're still better off by charging battery over night. I'm thinking about heat pump now
Hipsters
I recommend reading fake law by @barristersecret.bsky.social. It's very good
But you do is keep calling with fake tips. If you get enough people to call, they'll be super busy chasing all the fake tips
Party conferences are always pretty extreme. And we only see the "best" bits on tv
In surprise news, convicted monopolists @google & @apple argue anti-monopoly rules are preventing them from exploiting their monopolies. Both are requesting @ec.europa.eu stop being mean, ditch DMA & let them exploit users with impunity
@benquick.social, yeah pretty much what you said
Maybe because of the level of "personality"? I think he was fairly well known beyond just the US in certain circles

Nope. Vpn providers is wild West, we're most are cowboys. Most people don't need a Vpn these days either
Harking back to the glory days. Top Gear is still very much alive - the magazine, spin-offs in other countries, etc. Just nothing in the UK after they nearly killed Freddy chasing viewers
Forcibly removing everyone from Gaza is one way to end starvation in Gaza. Technically they're not in Gaza anymore, so you can't complain
@microsoft.com if I'd wanted to move all my files to one drive & delete them, I would have done that. Can you stop doing that please.
Good to see people with no idea how the legal system works taking a stance on the legal system.
Totally. I found a config file for something recently that mine in it
Spare a thought for the IDF today. They were out all day yesterday shooting innocent people trying to get bags of flour, and when they got home they had to find out the heartbreaking news that some people at Glastonbury don't like them. That cannot be good for your mental health.
I've seen other people saying the same thing about one drive. I've never had a problem - not sure what I'm doing right
Isn't it wonderful how @yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social & the British government just showed the world how to defeat privacy & made everyone less safe.
Great job by Ruben (@rubenbolling.bsky.social).
I'm quite enjoying this season. New comedians who haven't had a lot of TV exposure.
