Yeah I really went "what if I gave more work to my workaholic" blblbl
I don't know if it will be on the long term, but at least she will probably for a while !

And yeah, he's still alive, and has all his limbs this time-

Lux grunted, as he tried to make sense of the budget. His brother disappeared with EYE.RIS, suddenly propelling Lux to the position of Heir... Which let him with very little free time... Lux sighed, and sat back down, listing his project needed, checking the items as he went... "I guess all I have left to do is intervewing people to take care of the children..." EYE.RIS actions had taken away a lot of people. Some lucky ones were at the hospital, in recovery, but for the others, they left behind them their families... Maybe he was getting softer over time. Having his own "daughter" definitely changed him. However, he wouldn't have it any other way. For now, he closed the Elda Orphanage files. Time to go back to work.

"You shoud stay down for now, you have been out for a while..." Aelyseria got for only answer a blank stare that clearly meant "I don't care". The physician didn't really know where to put herself, and it was even worse with her patient staring at her like this... On Xoxo's part, Aelyseria seemed a bit familiar. She approached her, before being hit by a distant memory. It was blurry, but she could distinguish the girl, escaping with... probably her boyfriend ? Oh, she shot him. Pretty well too. Hopefully, that doctor doesn't know. However, this thought put a damper on Xoxo's mood, so she ended up frowning, feeling angry. "... Is something the matter ?" "It's nothing."

Violet and Erric laughed heartily, as they ran from the guard, jumping from building to building, hand in hand. After a good "day's work", the angel asked her friend to bring her painting "like he does", and he couldn't help but to oblige. Doing some street art with his best friend ? Hell yes ! That's how they ended up running, as fast as the wind, until they arrived back at the NEO, still laughing. Izzy looked at the two, a bit curious, but went back to work right after, with a little smile. "A strawberry soda for the miss ~ ?" "Yes please ~ !"

"Haah... How annoying... It's only been a few days, and yet, look at them, already parading in the streets as if they were some kind of heroes..." <It wouldn't have happened if you were more careful with your equipment, Zagi. You were the cause of the breach.> He threw his hands in the air. "I know, I know ! But hey, look, I got rid of everything ! I'm not going back out there, even if my disgusting brother is taking my place !" <Such things have no importance in our world anyway, you know that.> "I do. In the end, they've chosen to declare peace..." <It will just give us time to prepare for our next act.> "You're right... For EYE.RIS." <For EYE.RIS.>

After the situation calmed down at the ark, Erric decided to learn engineering from Izzy; ultimately making it his dream to surpass her.

It was another day filled with banters on NEO workshop. New customer came in, putting that banter to a pause.

Lux would join on the "hip-hip-hurrah" before passing out (not sure if he slept more than a few hours since he got in his red hair self haha)

1/4 "Lux ! We are back !" "I can see that..." He caught Violet in their hug, and smiled at the commando team. "Good job everyone. And welcome back to us, Mezaloka." The reptilian looked at the man, a bit confused. "Do we know each other... ?" "You might have seen me under the pseudonym ANGEL... Sorry again for your comms." "Oh ! So that was you !" She slapped gently Lux in his back. "No hard feelings. Plus, you were in the extraction team, so I should be thanking you !" Sky installed herself back to her station. While she was rescuing Mezaloka, she also finished to crack the code of the Virus. Now, she just had to create a patch to eliminate and protect devices from it. Then, it will be finding a way to send it out effectively, without losing her data... "Status update on the situation, Ichiro ?" The hacker jolted, and stopped staring at the girl that oddly looked like his colleague. "O-Oh ! Yes ! I've handled the attacks, but they were nothing I couldn't manage. And Lux cracked the firewall an hour ago or so..." "He... Wasn't he supposed to be resting at that time ?" "I told him so..."

2/4 Maybe Sky would've said something, if her colleague was not already busy being berated by his girlfriend for this very reason. She then focused on her work, since the rest was already done. "Good work on keeping the HQ safe, Ichiro." "That's the least I could do." He stretched himself, as he could finally leave his seat for a moment, and meddle a bit with everyone. Aelyseria was in full medic mode, giving the rest of the commando team much needed medical attention. She particularly tended to Mezaloka's injuries, as she couldn't give proper treatment in the middle of ennemy territory. Lux was half-asleep, crashing in a corner of his couch. Erric was here too, exchanging smiles with mini-Lux. He didn't expect to see him there, out of everyone. Last time they met, Izzy's scanner was "mysteriously" broken... "Hey Erric. Didn't expect to see you here..." "Yo Ichiro. That's a long story, but let's just say I'm a man of my word." He nodded towards the girl. "Hi." She smiled at him. For a "soldier", she looked pretty young... "I'm Violet. It's nice to meet you in person, mister Ichiro." "Drop the mister, it feels weird. Same, though. Glad you made it back."

3/4 "He was crazy worried about you, you know ? I only saw him from afar, but he didn't seem like the type of guy to lose his cool..." Violet looked a bit embarrassed. "I guess I did cause a lot of worries for a lot of people..." Erric pinched her nose. "Stop with that, you did whatever you thought was right. Plus, you really got better with your blaster, you know ?" "... Thanks... That's nice of you..." Well, at least, it was nice to see that the young ones in the team were going along. Ichiro went back to his post, taking a second shift, as Lux was probably not in good enough shape to take his. From time to time, he would peek to see Sky's screen, as she was furiously planning her patch. For now, not a single line of code was written, as it was important to build the patch for it to be as sturdy as possible. Otherwise, they would get quickly "out-patched" by EYE.RIS, and all of the work they've done then would be almost for nothing. "How did he break into it anyway ? I thought their firewall was giving him a headache..." "He seemed to have log in with someone's credentials, and took the code from the other side..." "That "luck" of his really runs deep, I guess..." It took Sky a few hours to finish her work...

4/4 After Sky sent the patch on the Network, the team ended up on Lux's balcony. They could almost hear an echo of a music, in the city... Then, they saw it. The purple lights that have been plaguing the whole Sector for days were slowly turning green. One by one, the buildings were back to their usual tints... They couldn't help but to smile, at the familiar view of the green lights illuminating 5KY Sector. They did it. EYE.RIS was defeated, and their home was back.
