Hand & Controller! 👀 🙌

Working on adding multimodal support for Hand Physics Lab allowing seamless switching between hand and controller tracking and allowing both at the same time!

Very handy for specific objects like guns and Badminton rackets! 🔫🏸

I made it so I can save chalk drawings at runtime back to the editor, meaning I can author chalk drawing assets for the game world from within the game world.

update on my Slime game💚

The dungeon's popularity is plummeting! Only the Slime can make it fun again. Lots of magic sodas are needed to get the job done.

Freya's notes on 2D quaternions, showing how to rotate a vector using a 2D quaternion, which has one real aka. w-component, and one imaginary component. This is basically a complex number, which you can already use for rotations directly, but with extra steps to ensure you have double-cover (which is generally just a nuisance). So yes this is a shitpost but it's also real functional math/code lol

are you tired of using a simple angle for 2D rotation?

are you missing that sweet double cover from quaternions?

well look no further!! introducing:

VR chopsticks! Always wanted to add these to a game, and now I finally can. I might be a bit biased, but they feel great! Effortless to use.

a color coded image by Freya, comparing the summation and capital pi notation in math, to their equivalent in code using for-loops. The summation notation sums a set of elements, while the product notation multiplies a set of elements.

Note that Freya is keenly aware that neither the math notation nor for-loops are fully explained by this image, and that this is only a subset of the use cases, so luckily you don't have to explain that to her, in case you were considering doing that!

btw these large scary math symbols are just for-loops
