To be absolutely clear, I will not vote for Labour if they continue to support Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians.

I won’t be voting tactically

I don’t care who that lets into power

I’m not voting for a Party that can permit the wilful starvation of innocent people.

Thank you Ifhat for your support!

I am standing for re-election to the female health seat on UNISON's NEC alongside Claire Miller and Kevin Corran.

We also recommend voting for Adrian O'Malley for the remaining health seat.

Many of the best people I meet are trans. Some of the biggest advocates for justice. No trans woman has ever threatened my rights. Today’s ruling is a win for hypothetical scenarios that barely exist in reality, and causes real life pain and anxiety for people already enduring so much.

Just watched ‘Striking with Pride: United at the Coalface’ as part of Leeds Queer Film Festival and 100% recommend to anyone who gets a chance to watch it.

An important display of solidarity I think a few on the left could do with being reminded of right now.

This ⬇️

It’s a sign that there’s something v wrong with society if one job isn’t enough to survive on

And these people no doubt would be the first to complain about standards slipping. How can you expect good service when an employee is exhausted? Would you want a doctor straight off another shift?

Obviously most ‘centrist’ media outlets don’t respond to those on the left-wing saying they’re focusing on the wrong things, so let me say this: your reporting is really super boring now, because it’s very clear that you’re using mental gymnastics not to call out Starmer properly.

Cardiff: University confirms plans to cut 400 jobs Vice-chancellor Wendy Larner says "it is no longer an option for us to continue as we are".

Who needs nurses anyway?

So sorry to hear about your cat. 💔 Everything is awful at the moment, even in the best of circumstances, but the (seemingly few) decent people left need to stick together! Spring will soon be on its way - I always find that feels a little bit better. 🌞

'Nurse' stabbed at hospital A&E department - man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder The woman in her 50s, who has suffered life-changing injuries, is being treated at her place of work.

Horrendous to think that nurse went to work in A&E - in already dire circumstances - and ended up a patient there herself.

I hope our unions are really going to stand up for us. @rcn.org.uk

Can anyone point to *any credible* sources for the claims I’ve seen vaguely waved around, that private health has a whole load of meaningful & useful spare capacity just waiting around for NHS patients?

I saw 20% mentioned but that seems to have come from industry lobbyists - about something else!
