First time I read it when I got to the end I just went back to the start and read the whole thing again

No way... Uuuuugh
What a great headline
When I've done it with the quest 3 the most compelling use case was gaming while lying down, with the steam headset having a battery pack on the back I don't know how comfortable that would be
Increasingly convinced the main damage cell phones have done to creativity isn't decreased attention spans or what not but the elimination of productive boredom. Inspiration comes from the mind filling the void inside. Hard to make art when you're constantly silencing the silence with "content."
A high-resolution color image of Mars with the small, dark, potato shaped satellite Phobos, seen in sharp contrast as it passes over the massive volcano Olympus Mons. Phobos appears irregular and shadowed against the softly rust colored Martian surface. In the distance, two other volcanic features Ascraeus Mons (upper right) and the flatter Alba Mons (upper left) are visible. Wisps of light clouds and the blackness of space frame the planet’s curved horizon.

That was very interesting, here in Germany I'm dealing with too much humidity in my apartment in winter, so learning that they put out some heat while dehumidifying actually makes them more appealing

I think PDA actually fits a scifi setting better, now that the word is not in common use anymore. We all have phones or tablets - boring. But a personal digital assistant? That's futuristic.
GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references.
Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.
Looks sick, sound design seems very good as well
Genuinely, before you make a decision on whether a product/feature/whatever is a good purchase, ask two questions:
1) What problem does this solve for me?
2) How else could I solve that problem?
If you can't identify 1, stop.
If you can, but 2) has a quick easy answer... look there first.
A close-up image of a Snowcap hummingbird perched on a branch. The bird has deep reddish-purple feathers with a striking white cap on its head. Its small, slender black beak contrasts with its vibrant plumage. The background is a soft, blurred green, allowing the hummingbird's rich colors to stand out.
Male Snowcap in the gardens at Tapir Valley.

Wow!
I didn't even say anything in defense of billionaires, I don't think they should be allowed to hoard all that wealth either, but I'm a bootlicker for... saying dehumanizing is bad. Holy crap. Please go outside and interact with some real people, you're like a walking caricature at this point.
Nice shot, and that's such a beautiful shade of blue too.
A swallow with iridescent blue head and white breast is standing on top of a wooden fence post. The background is soft focus blending from purple at the top to green at the bottom
I never get tired of seeing tree swallows

I feel pretty good about my stance of "not cheering at the deaths of people" but I'll keep that in mind.
Alrighty then 👍
So dehumanizing is okay as long as it's a group we don't like, got it. I'm sorry you have so little empathy for other human beings
Celebrating people dying is surely a very normal and healthy thing to do. Jesus christ, the people on this site sometimes.
a Eurasian wren clinging to the side of a fallen log, looking at the ground below it. It's a small brown bird with a distinctive tail which is sticking up from its body at a sharp angle
a Eurasian wren sitting on a fallen birch tree, facing away from the viewer and looking to the right. It's a small brown bird with a distinctive tail which is sticking up from its body at a sharp angle
three fuzzy looking wren chicks huddled together under a birch log. the left one is chirping with its eyes closed, the one in the middle is facing the viewer, and the right one is facing right, away from the other two
three wren chicks huddled together under a fallen birch tree. all three are facing left, seemingly looking at the same thing
saw this wren fluttering around a fallen birch tree and when I stopped to have a look I saw its three fuzzball little chicks pop out from under it. absolutely adorable! #birds
Oh cool, we even got these kind of accounts here now, posting stolen content all day long. "Images are not mine. Original creators own the copyright©" yeah that'll do...
This (clearly) isn't even a photo, it's an illustration: www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/...
It's just some baseless rumor. The price is way too low, it would never get past regulators and most importantly steam would have to want to sell, and why should they? They have a money printing machine already
A four-panel comic. The first panel shows an arrow pointing down at a happy-looking nuthatch bird, and a caption: This is a nuthatch. The caption says "It's called a nuthatch because... wait no" and we see the nuthatch standing on a pile of nuts, tucking them under it. The caption says "That's not... wait" and the nuthatch is roosting comfortably on the pile of nuts. The caption says NO. And we see that one of the nuts has hatched and some walnut meat is flying happily into the air on little wings.
Nuthatch. An older comic.
Looks like some model of Anbernic RG35, I think they start around 50 dollars
What a shot!
