Punch-Out!! (Prototype) - Glass Joe [0:39.25] (Audio Faithfully Restored!!)
Punch-Out!! (Prototype) - Glass Joe [0:39.25] (Audio Faithfully Restored!!) YouTube video by zallard1

I did a speedrun of Glass Joe on the newly discovered prototype of Punch Out! It doesn't play any audio though, so I ended up doing a complete restoration of the audio using very advanced tech.

Please hear the tech you won't regret the tech.

Just finished restoring this Genesis Model 1 using @zaxour.bsky.social 3BP+ and flex cables, and it’s a game changer!

The flex makes the install clean with only a few wires needed, and the 3BP+ makes the video and audio look phenomenal! I recommend this combo to get the best from your Genesis!

Another (mostly) new SNES built using @starlightk7.bsky.social OpenSFC project! The purple PCB is probably my favorite color, and translucent shell is a great way to display this project

To my amazement, the original SCSI HDD was still operational on this computer! Thanks to BlueSCSI's Initiator mode, I was able to make a perfect image of it. An external BlueSCSI from @museumjoe.bsky.social now uses this image along with many others. Always great to see another Mac restored! 3/

As expected, this computer did not power on at all when I first received it. This is due to bad electrolytic capacitors on the computer motherboard and also on the analog board. All electrolytic caps were replaced to get it working again 2/

Thanks to Starlightk7's OpenSFC project, you can now resurrect dead SNES/SFC controllers and make them look better than ever.
I put together an install guide here, and you can purchase these PCBs from 1uprestorations.com and build them yourself!

Oh man that’s perfect lol

It took a few hours since I had to test continuity on a bunch of traces, solder them back together, then add epoxy on the opposite side to give the board some structural stability again. Not fun but very satisfying to see it live again

Yeah I was hellbent on getting this working again. By some miracle, the tube was not destroyed even though the neck board was obliterated by shipping.
