On the mansion by the master watchmaker, Alphonse Blanc made in 1840, a very beautiful meridian of Average time, with a pierced disc, and analemma. The meridians of Paris and Turin are engraved on it. At that time, Savoy was not yet attached to France. The oblique lines are aligned with the signs of the Zodiacs where the sun enters the sign with the date of the 1st day of the month. A disc with eyelet was welded to an arrow supported by a foot decorated with stars.

Despite a construction of the choir, then of the nave, spread over about thirty years, the architecture of the building offers a remarkable uniformity, clearly visible at the level of the piles and the vault. The Gothic architectural style is enriched with a Renaissance ornamentation, in a very harmonious marriage. A magnificent jube (rood screen), the only one left in Paris, cuts the building in two. Architectural and artistic feat, its design dates from the early 1530s. The tribune, nine meters long, is supported by a basket-ended vault that culminates at four meters. A typical ornamentation of the early Renaissance (the รฉcoinรงons) is combined with the classical Gothic style of the railing and stairs, a style not without a Mooorish influence.

The nave-transept crossing is one of the masterpieces of this church, built around 1584-1586. This vault is a magnificent example of the transition from late Gothic to Renaissance style. The thirds that divide the space are gothic, as are the hanging keys and the openwork discs with fine chisels that furnish these spaces. The other motifs of ornamentation are totally Renaissance. The artistic fantasy of the whole is typical of the late 16th century. The central hanging key has a height of 2.40 meters. It is kept in balance almost five meters below the top of the vault thanks to curved links stiffened by an invisible metal reinforcement, present from the origin.

A panoramic photo taken from the edge of a pond. The various plants and tree species that border this body of water offer a beautiful palette of greens. The sky is blue with some cumulus clouds reflected in the water.
