Even as he was dying Stephen Lewis stood up for justice and the belief in a better world. A model to us all.
Trans rights are human rights.

It was great to connect with friends old and new at this special evening in the beautiful French Embassy.
So grateful to the Parliamentary Pride Caucus for this wonderful honour. #LoveIsLove
Solidarity.
Venceremos!
Today 12 Feb is the anniversary of the death of the most courageous woman I knew, my dear friend Sue Rodriguez. Sue led the fight for the right to die with dignity when she chose, and respect for rights of people with disabilities.
Honour her memory❤️

Kirsty was a friend and a passionate and dedicated advocate for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, and for a better world.
A kind, compassionate and fun woman who cared deeply.
RIP old friend, condolences to Sven (the other Svend in her life) her family and all those who loved her ❤️

Vancouver, you brought the house down!
More than 400 people packed the room with hope and energy.
The grassroots momentum behind our campaign is only surging. Come be part of it!

6 baseball cards against a sky background. The cards show that labour leaders Sid Ryan, Terry Langley, Logan Sellathurai, Nas Yadollahi, Jeff Irons, and Pam Parks endorse Avi Lewis for NDP leader.
Thrilled for the support from 6 powerful labour leaders: private and public, veteran and young, all united in passion for justice.
We share a belief: the NDP and trade unions must fight together for an ambitious vision guaranteeing a dignified life for ALL workers.

I'm honoured to have the support of six amazing climate leaders from across the country and around the world.
Climate impacts are stealing lives, costing billions, and only getting more intense.
Our politics needs an injection of urgency: a climate emergency plan. A Green New Deal.
Great news, a powerful endorsement from a respected trailblazer! ❤️
I believe Avi Lewis is the leader the NDP needs right now.
He’s someone who gives us hope, unites our movements, and offers bold, inspiring solutions to tackle affordability while upholding human rights without qualification or exception. (1/2)
We are hosting an NDP Leadership Debate on Palestine, January 21 at 7:00 PM EST. Registration is required: www.eventbrite.ca/e/ndp-leader...
Wonderful endorsement.
Thanks brother.
Happy 92nd birthday Jean!
The US has attacked a country, kidnapped its head of state, and is seizing its oil. Trump has invoked the Monroe Doctrine.
This is a moment for Canada to stand up: condemn this act of imperialism. Reject impunity and the politics of brute force.

Love it! Congratulations to Jenny and Sara...now let's get your brother elected in March.
Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.
Shame.
Billions for NATO weapons and cuts for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.
Liberal cuts will mean more children dying of preventable diseases malaria, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS.
Hope all parties will fight this unprecedented cut.
Shame.

My position is clear: I am unequivocally opposed to any new fossil fuel development — including LNG.
We must have the courage to say this to every government, of any stripe: if you’re building new pipelines or fossil infrastructure, this shall not pass.
