Tldr

We had a lovely date. But I ain't paying a week's worth of groceries to bring mom dad and a whole minivan of kids on date night. No ma'am.

We had both immensely enjoyed the audiobook prior and the film was definitely not that in many ways. Some changes obviously were reasonable. Others.... Not so much and we're rather silly.
