This guy was all sweetness and light when he was a potato but last Friday we went to the library and when it was time to leave he found a chair, sat on it with his back to me, and repeated "bye mammy!" in the hopes that I would just leave him there.

A photo of the judging panel for RuPaul's Drag Race. From left to right: Michelle Visage, RuPaul, T.S. Madison, and Bruno, a member of the Pit Crew whose job is ordinarily to stand around in a Speedo looking handsome. He looks thrilled to be sitting on the panel with everyone important, although a little out of place as he is still wearing a Speedo. The caption reads "when you accidentally become important at work".

I’ll never forget watching The Wicker Man with my outer Hebridean mum. “I just don’t know where there got all that wicker from”

It's a year today since our little familiar said goodbye. We think of her every day and miss her so much. ❤️🌈

violence is always bad! I'm smiling and laughing for a completely different reason, I'm thinking about something else.

Love your deft avoidance of the S word there.

Sometimes I remember when I was 22 and lived on crisps and Chinese food yet remained a TWIG. Now I need to commit to 3 spin classes before I've even finished my Easter egg. 🥲

This post on the Bridgerton subreddit made me laugh because it's so true. I also have this problem with Simone Ashley, she's SO beautiful that it's distracting!

I have a question for anyone who:

•Has been a little boy
•Is raising or has raised a little boy

What's with the sticks? Every time we go for a walk we devote an inordinate amount of time to finding a cool stick. The rubric for this procedure is unclear.

My new least favourite thing is people who see you out with a toddler and are like "aww, you're doing such a good job!" as you're struggling with a buggy or looking under tables for a dropped dinosaur. I know I am, but help me or go away. 🥲

Front cover of the novel Her, by Harriet Lane.

You know me. I'm no stranger to a psychological thriller. I'm fairly shockproof even! But every so often one gets under my skin. The final pages of this book legitimately left me on the verge of a panic attack. This IS a recommendation. 😭 Thanks for the nightmares @harrietlane.bsky.social!
