I cannot help but ask the question, "Do we think that POS would have seen her as human enough to let her live if she wasn't visibly queer?" I'm not the only queer who has had bad experiences with law enforcement discrimination, ofc, but I think the queerphobia angle has been largely understated.

I'm still using the same 6 pack of paper towels I bought 2 years ago and take out the trash can once every 1.5-2 months instead of weekly. I've never met anyone else in the wild with this kind of restraint and conviction against consumerism, but I'm not gonna stop because of that.

I'm so tired of people pretending a single day of general striking is what will change the institution. I don't think the average American is prepared for the sacrifices they need to make for a general strike to work, because I've been doing it solo for the past decade and no one I know supports it.
