Great photo. The film works well with the M5, which I’m so very envious of 😁

Imo, the Allante was one of the better and more interesting cars that Cadillac made.

Always loved the Honda Civic hatchback. I was sorry that they dropped it in the USA. Ditto the Honda Fit.

Hell, no! I’ll take buttons, and switches over screens any day, even if it means that I’m driving cars that are getting older and clapped out…

This is akin to the hype around sending cube sats to Proxima Centauri. “It can be done today!”, “They’ll reach the star in decades instead of centuries!”, but it depends on tech that isn’t invented yet. So much for “today”…

I’m old enough (not old 😁) to remember when bread was less than $1 per loaf. Granted, it was Wonder Bread or some other horrible white monstrosity.

Nice finds. I have the Hamilton Beach stand mixer that my parents (truthfully, Mom) received as a wedding present in 1957.

The AMC Rebel Machine had a hood-mounted tach, though I don’t remember if it was the first or only one.

Very sad. Countries spend billions to take lives, but very little to actually make them better ☹️

90% of the crap that Elon says is either hype or grift…

God forbid if US automakers actually made competitive cars…

I agree. US automakers are dinosaurs and have lost the ability to innovate. The vehicles that they produce have parts and assemblies that would be recognizable to mechanics trained pre-WW II…

Colin Chapman’s legacy lives on…

Great car! From a period when American automakers were capable of producing cars that were ahead of their time

The gas-powered charger is likely to be a much smaller displacement than current hybrid variants possess. May not be perfect, but incremental improvements shouldn’t be overlooked

When the lease on our 2024 Nissan Ariya (great car), we’ll definitely consider a used Mach-E. I’ve always loved its sculpted lines…

I’ve never tried ghee, but I love both naan and roti with hummus or baba ganoush spread on top 😋

Brood pain. Is that what results when a person’s children are being extra? 🤔

Indeed. It galls me that new appliances are so expensive, yet last only a few years to keep people busy buying new ones. I refuse to play that game, so if one of mine quits after a short time, I don’t replace it (fridge and stove excepted)There are ways to work around it.

You have a great car, but boy, do I miss the barges that the mid-1970’s Imperials used to be…

With new cars reaching unaffordable levels without eye watering financing, used vehicles will become more popular, thus pushing up prices. Now seems to be the time to embrace driving a clapped out car, which comes with a perverse sense of pride, and anti-status cred 😜

I hope that Kia eventually sells this in the USA. I’m really tired of seeing barn sized vehicles roaming the streets…
