how do you actually make that jump from planning to prose?
been playing with three-act structure in my flash fiction this week. setup in first 100 words, conflict builds for 300, wrap in final 100. makes such a difference having that skeleton, even for tiny stories.
The worst part of having a detailed outline?
Constantly switching between your outline document and your draft. Tab. Tab. Tab. Scroll. Where was I?
The context switching kills the flow.
