5 am and I had to redo the dressing of my Huber needle line… 🫤 glad they gave me some extra dressing.
Thankfully the needle was still in place.
Since I was awake I googled Huber needle and found out it was invented by a Seattle dentist, Ralph Lee Huber, during WW2. Thanks Seattle dentist ! 😊

My carrot sticks were delicious with salt. Fighting tiredness with carrot sticks will be the new craze… 🤣
Me too, for 20 years plus now. But if increasing my salt intake is not enough, I’ll just take a lower dose medication
In medicine, it’s a matter of balance: not too much, not too little…
Back from my GP. My BP is low because I don’t eat enough salt.
I am not restricting myself but I prefer food not too salty 🙄
Here I am 1/2 an hour later eating carrot sticks with lots of salt… 🥕

It’s a cheap traditional dish first mentioned in 1735.
It’s comfort food in Ireland 🇮🇪
Most had very exhausting very physical works so they needed the calories.
One can use milk or cream. I used crème fraîche. And lots of butter!
Or it would have been too “light” 🤣
It is quite good. For a change I strictly followed the traditional Irish recipe
