Songs of Glimmerwick feels like the anti-HP of wizard school games. An entire setting that confronts a society newly escaping 40 years of regressive faux-populist politics.

Serious as that sounds, Glimmerwick is SO funny and lighthearted. Excited to see the story continue in the full game.

The Abzorbaloff, a big green partially naked beastly alien creature, from the science fiction series, Doctor Who. Its arms are outstretched. It is holding a cane. It has the faces of human beings it has absorbed popping through its body. Its entire vibe says "TA DAAAA".

The production team are incredible. Working in studio with Alan & Hemi (and Darren!) was an absolute dream.

I maintain that David K Barnes is one of the finest comic writers in a generation, but sadly he also excels with any script he puts his quill to. All whilst being a very good egg. Despicable.

OTOH: it's also a world in which an episode of The Amelia Project written by @davidkbarnes.com exists (which features a rich despot who buys the Roman Empire because he has no friends)
