The problem was me, not realizing the code wasn’t active for the Texas shows until 10 this morning. Thank you! Tickets secured!

The code isn't working D:
HUGE
No other band is writing lyrics as good as @tmbg.bsky.social
Yeah I guess if I were a creatively bankrupt culture vulture I would be okay with having a robot write songs for me too.
Legitimately one of your best works. It's so dense with great moments I've listened multiple times since it came in on Saturday and I'm still finding new things to love about it 🙌

Already listened twice and I’m about to listen again 🙌
There’s no way a show with an entire episode about a kid on a stoop wasn’t set in New York, whether they’ll admit it or not.
I’ve tried an “intelligent” noise gate that was supposed to function like discords excellent noise filtering but that’s only listening for any human voice, not one specific voice.
In your use case I’d look into lapel microphones. TBH though the only way to make sure you don’t ever trigger the talking on your avatars is isolation. I don’t believe there is a voice specific AI noise gate.

It's easily a top favorite series of all time for me now, with the 2nd one quite possibly being my favorite game of all time. Seeing all the positivity around it after the PC release has made me so happy.
Really happy to see Death Stranding finally getting the love I think it deserved the whole time. I remember being hesitant to play because of the overwhelming negativity around it but I went for it anyway and was hooked from the intro.
A screenshot from Threads, a user posting about how to reduce mic bleed and suggests they might need AI
I’m so disappointed that people new to audio are being bombarded by AI so badly that they think they would need AI to fix this, rather than a 50 year old technology called ~noise gate~
its a different type of translation happening. Apple uses ARM chips, steam deck is still x86-64. steam deck also supports vulkan which has better translation from directx, whereas it has to translate to Metal for macos.
i believe it'll get better eventually but for now it still needs work
With that said, fo76 runs fine on the steam deck so I’ll eventually probably move to Linux on my gaming PC (and I assume it’ll perform even better!)
I have and use crossover for some games, but the game I play most often is fallout 76. while most of the time it runs fine on my m5 MBP, there’s a lot of crashing issues with it still. If it weren’t for that I’d essentially be doing all my gaming on my MBP.
Too late. Besides gaming I've already switched to Mac for all my production and casual needs. RIP
We need and immediate and complete shutdown of coke freestyle machines until they can figure out how to stop serving orange Dr Pepper by accident

A reading app for Charlie Kelly
Day 2 - 10:39AM - Copying and pasting from excel sometimes results in the pasted text being "Retrieving data, please wait a few seconds...."
Absolutely not. We're talking about copying and paste literally bytes of information. Inexcusable bug for a feature that worked flawlessly in Windows 3.1
Update: It actually DID load in my old notes, but it was buried below so many of their own notes labelled as Tips that I couldn't see them. I'll just say this was my fault, but bad UX played a role.
misc. note from day 1: When I opened the start menu and typed Outlook it recommended Outlook (Classic) rather than the newest version.
Why? And why have this (New) and (Classic) mess? This is a sloppy bandaid solution….
Why? Are the notes in Sticky Notes in such a distinct format they couldn't possibly be loaded into a new version of their own app. These are the mysteries of Microsoft.
Day 2 - 8:58 AM - Old computer had multiple synced sticky notes. They open fine on the new one, but Windows now has Sticky Notes (New). This is also fine, but they didn't consider having saved items from Sticky Notes automatically load into Sticky Notes (New).
Day 2 (today), 8:00 AM - Tried to open an excel file which was automatically uploaded to OneDrive. This crashed Excel. Opened the OneDrive folder to see if there was an error with syncing. No noticeable issues but file refuses to open. Restart windows, file works.
We're off to a good start, y'all.
I'm going to make a thread to document my journey with my brand new windows pc at work. No extra software installed besides Chrome.
Day 1 - File explorer crashed several times after turning on the preview feature so I can quickly skim through PDF files. Had to turn it off, unusable.
