Theater teaches team work, resilience, project management, public speaking, listening, patience, empathy, and so, so much more.
The loss of this theater program is tragic, and if business leaders were serious about wanting soft skills in the workforce they'd fund programs at every school.

Ahhh, the natural progression from the middle schooler telling you at 10p "I need black slacks and a white top for the band performance tomorrow, also there's a band performance tomorrow." And of course... last year's slacks do not fit.
