This must be what it was like when the English football league was created. ⚽

"Sir, we put them on the AI hater blocklist, but they're still posting anti-AI content!"
"Well, then we'll create a AI Hater Championship!"

Bust up big corporations and tackle Wall Street’s greed.

Get big money out of politics.

Strengthen unions and boost wages.

Pass Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare, and so much more...

This is the agenda Democrats need to fight for.

It's not enough to simply be anti-Trump.

It honestly doesn't surprise me that his White House "ballroom" actually doubles as a national security bunker. He's spending whatever he wants to he can ride out the backlash in luxurious safety.

Slight spoiler, but the idea of a reincarnated Travis Tate terrified me more than any Zenith. 😅

Life became so much easier when I started limiting my online reactions to people I've actually met.

Seconded. Can we take all the people stealing from company cars and just send them to the nearest data center? They could get more platinum, palladium, and rhodium from one data center than every car they've broken into combined.

I've never really thought about before, but yeah: who said we have to post new content at least once a week? Why should a potential employer care if I post every day?? I used to be on social media for fun, not because I felt compelled to protect my brand and promote myself.

You absolutely SHOULD NOT go around telling people that data centers are full of gold, silver, palladium, copper, and that the data centers are almost entirely unstaffed.

BTW, shout-out to Trevor at Mythical Kitchen for introducing me to this place. I had no idea there was a Ukrainian restaurant in LA, and it happened to work out that I was in Santa Monica today. Really great food and really great staff!

It wasn't even for a job opening. I thought if I came in-person and told my story, it would make a difference. That if I shared my love for video games and my eagerness to learn how to design them, that maybe they would keep my name in mind. Man, I really had no idea what I was doing back then.

I decided to grab dinner to go before driving back to Las Vegas. I heard about this Ukrainian restaurant called "Mom, Please" so I drove over to Playa Vista. Then I realized I've been here before. Not long after I graduated in 2015, I drove all the way here to DICE LA to submit a copy of my resume.

Interviewing @ayshaufarah.bsky.social about Dragon Age 2 was such a delight, and she was able to put into words something I couldn't articulate after getting the platinum in DA: Veilguard.

"There's no weird sex pervert in that game."

IT'S TRUE. Taash was the closest we came, but no dice.

“It’s a couple of things that work beautifully in concert. First: no music. Audiences are so sophisticated, but what they’re not accustomed to is not being told how to feel,” Wyle says. “You take all that out and it forces a level of engagement where you’re now looking for clues within the frame of the screen, which forces you to look up from your phone. And I think that is extremely engaging, especially to young viewers who aren’t accustomed to being asked to participate in a nonpassive way in the viewing experience.

“Second point, shooting it with almost exclusively 50-millimeter or 65-millimeter lenses, which is the most comparable to the human eye—and only shooting from the point of view of a human being that’s present in this space. There are no cameras on gurney wheels going in the hallway. There’s no cameras on the ceiling looking down from a God point of view. You are limited to the perspective of a participant. You can look away, but you can’t leave, and it becomes an endurance test for you to stay on your feet as long as we’re on our feet. Which [brings me to my] third point: real time. Real time has an aggregate sense of tension that you don’t get in any other form of storytelling. What happened before is happening now, and these two things are going to add up to the next thing. And if we throw more ingredients into this cooker and keep ratcheting it up, it’s going to pop.”

Wyle makes eye contact for his next point, delivering it with a Robby-esque matter-of-factness. “Fourth point: The election went the other way,” he says with a shrug. “We could have been a really good show with a lot of nice things to say in a perfectly normal Kamala Harris universe. And instead we became almost a beacon of hope and humanity in an alternative universe. But in the midst of that, fifth point—this is essentially competence porn. You’re watching really smart, dedicated people do what only they know how to do at a level that you don’t know how to do it, and you’re so fucking glad that they’re there doing it, and compartmentalizing their own stuff to put your broken pieces back together. You’re so reassured by knowing that there are people out there that laugh and joke and have the ability to lock in like that.”

📌Pope Leo XIV TODAY:

“The world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants. Blessed are the peacemakers, but woe to those who manipulate religion and the name of God for their own military, economic and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth.”

He is NOT backing down.
