Spittlebugs have a loving relationship with dogwoods. They live in bubbles to hide from birds, protect from extreme temps, and repel predators. They extract O2 by piercing the bubbles. They don’t damage your plants, so even if they give you the heebie-jeebies, leave them to their bubble business.

No, I only use what’s included in the set. For oxygen/propane generally you want to six and seven tips. For acetylene/oxygen you would use the three, four and five tips. Let me know if you want to FaceTime. I’m happy to talk you through the entire thing.
