By the way, why the hell did they backload the story so much? I found the story mostly boring with only a few highlights until Area Zero then it was like intensely interesting but over in a flash. It's like Gamefreak's writeres are highly capable but hold themselves back or something.

Pokemon Champions motivated me to finally finish Pokemon Scarlet so I could unlock all the tools to build the Pokemon I want for champions, and I realized for two nights in a row that I had to force myself to stop playing pokemon and go to bed, it feels nice to actually be addicted to pokemon again

I was in circle K for like three minutes and when I came out I caught some punk trying to steal my bike. It was locked and it seemed like he was disassembling it and when I confronted him he made up a quick story about how it looks like his sister's bike and thought it was stolen and backed off.

Same feeling as people reading about the bugs in gen 1 pokemon and thinking "wow, these developers SUCKED!!" like they weren't having to be incredibly careful about optimisation and taking on a massive project for their team size

comments like this only really happen because people go to watch Kaze or pannenkoek's videos, assume the really niche smaller bits of the game you'd never really even see normally make the up the entire game experience, and then put on their big "game developer" hats to say this shit

Starting to be convinced that my mom's dementia is triggered by anxiety, because it always flares up when she spends prolonged periods with my brother, who's always pushing her around and talking down to her in front of her kids, and if you dare call him out on it he just shuts down or storms out.

It's cool that Gamecube NSO is a thing but I would really rather see more re-releases like this where I can buy it physically, and it doesn't even need to be more than just a slightly higher resolution port with widescreen.

I finally beat Pikmin 2. This one's been on my backlog for decades. The gamecube disc I was sold was too scratched to finish, and I never replaced it until the same person who sold it to me gifted me the switch port of Pikmin 1+2. What did I think? Good game, but good lord the end game is brutal.
