What is wrong with people? To some extent this is what happened before the general election though. People predicted massive gains for ReFuk and they won 4 seats. And since they won big in the local council elections they have done nothing but colossally screw up.

Maybe political parties should put candidates through developed vetting (and pay for it) and they should only be allowed to stand for election if successful. Seems like a sound prerequisite qualification for becoming an MP?
But that's how vetting works. I worked for the civil service for a bit. It takes time. Vetting starts when people are appointed. If there's enough time between being recruited and your start date you are vetted before you start the job. Otherwise you start the job with vetting still under way.
I'd be intolerant of a pro-Trump workmate let alone a partner and as a middle aged man I don't have a positive view of men in general either. The one thing that concerns me about this is that someone pays that guy to publish his opinion. Which only serves to validate that position.
If you add the word "genuinely" into a sentence about what you believe then that's a pretty concrete indicator that you don't actually believe it at all.
I wondered that but it's consistent. It's not like it's inflating the anti-eu votes. It's under representing all of them.

For many reasons I often wish I was Irish not least of which is because when I say he's an in god-awful eejit it doesn't have the same charm.
So given how unwilling they all are to pay their taxes, no-one's willingly throwing that money away - they must be making a return on that investment indirectly.
Otherwise they're either stupid or evil enough to prefer wasting money to having it be used to provide public services.
