Finished this. What a beautiful and confounding book. I’m not entirely sure I “got” that ending, but the book, despite its endlessly experimental prose, held my attention in a vice. I think this one’s gonna get a re-read someday.
Highly, highly recommend this.
Sometimes I feel like I want to be a fiction writer, but then I realize I don’t know enough about anything to pull such a thing off.
If I wrote a character who worked in finance, I’d have to say, like: “Todd worked in finance, doing money-type stuff, for banks probably.”
Event planning company called Puffy.
What’s the movie?
I was saying “skythe” and it’s apparently “sithe.”
With a hard c. Like sky. 😔
I’ve been pronouncing “scythe” incorrectly my entire life. Gonna be a real walk of shame at the next Old Timey Farm Tools convention.
Oh double-sided Scotch tape, will your wonders never cease ☺️
Sorry I'm late. There was an online form and I had to scroll to my birth year.

Finished this. It was fine. A bit… empty? But a decent read. It’s no Secret History, but I didn’t actively dislike it.

I watched The Rehearsal recently and I honestly can’t believe that something so completely up my alley even exists.

Sometimes I remember hearing KC & Jojo at middle school dances
Finished this and yeah, I shan’t be reading any more of these.
Now reading 🤷🏻♂️
Not next but soon maybe.
Finished this goddamn corker of a book. I was expecting something very different from what I got, but what I got was an incredible novel nonetheless.
Seems more like pov you’re looking at a lady
Holy heck, Fugazi just released the 1992 Albini sessions for Bandcamp Friday! Proceeds going to Letters Charity.
I’ve still got about 1/3 of it to go but so far I’m absolutely loving it
I had to flip on the audiobook for half of it. This has never happened to me before. I did not enjoy it.
I finished this goddamned motherfucking thing and it almost turned me into a cruel and violent man.
This is about as bad as a show can be while still being good if that makes sense.
I forgot Rubik’s Cube
Now watching for the first time in millennia and I can’t believe how John Irving-y this movie is.
Like it’s based on some long-lost Irving novel.
