I do wonder if "games" is just too broad. Sim City, Celeste, CoD, and Threes being the same subject strains practicality. I studied Film and it did not have to stretch anywhere near that hard lol.
Always look to see what the tech bros want for their own kids: small class sizes with human teachers, human tutors with expert content knowledge, cell phone restrictions in classrooms, high per pupil spending, the arts and humanities--and much more they say is too costly for public schools.

Was feeling nostalgic, tried to install Minecraft. Apparently my account is invalid, because I didn't migrate it to a Microsoft account by 2023. Looks like people with stale enough accounts like mine received no warning emails this was happening. Pretty annoyed at this, prob more than I should be.

Like maybe I'm basic but seeing "oh lol this is [insert coworker/neighbor/random airport kid I walked past]'s character??" I got a kick out of. Brought a sorta IRL social ambiance to single player games.
Yeah! I thought it was really fun seeing which little encounters/characters you'd get passing by crowded places or neighborhoods or school/work/whatever. I was mostly 3DS era, dunno if that was different form DS.

[Climbing soapbox] but the REAL travesty was that you couldn't use the extra yellow hearts to pull the Master Sword. I was SO STOKED about that plan and even thought it was intended. That failing felt like the least BOTWy thing to happen to me in BOTW, almost gave up on the game right then & there.
I remember wanting hearty food to work this way (healing that can overheal) cuz it ended up with a boring optimization instead: most of my cooked food inventory was single-ingredient hearty dishes, for the cheap full-heal.
