been streaming the Balatro I am already playing offline for the last few days and it's pretty fun. getting some actual traction out there again. maybe I'll keep doing that, idk. been too tired to go out and socialize anyway 😅

After literally six months of occasional attempts offline, I finally completed the dumbest Balatro challenge run, the Only Flush Five Challenge (as seen in that BelenosBear VOD). My VOD is on the channel for now, will edit into a video soon

hit 9 on an Ouija card and found Cloud 9 and Vagrant right after, an extremely fun way to play the Balatro

missed the deadline to sign up to volunteer at or play in AGDQ :( life is kind of busy so I may skip attending this year anyway, but still wish I had set aside the time to at least try for it

I'm rerolling for double Charm Tag (mega arcana pack) and 7+ of at least one number

the main thing I have taken from this GDQ is that I need to design my own homebrew scotto clone

I know many have done better but to me this is Popping Off

met a bunch of SA2 runners while waiting for poker and thus I have been infected with the itch to become an emerald hunter

there have been a few here and there, it doesn't feel like it's every segment every time like in the past but I've seen 2 or 3 on occasion

yeah that's fair. nobody said she was the most fun or interesting character haha, they can't all be the defect my beloved

she is easy once you learn her whole deal which basically boils down to: take very very very few cards and generally gesture in the general direction of the infinite

I've really gotta stream more. It's so much fun to play games and talk, I don't do either enough. I just have so much to do near me! If I lived in the burbs I would be a prolific streamer haha

going to the host panel today made me actually think it is maybe a thing I could do! I will have to try auditioning next round, maybe look for some smaller events to try out on first
