Just got out Fantastic Four and it’s really fun! Not a perfect movie but definitely felt like a return to form for Marvel and importantly j felt like it was a film about a family.

I mostly agree with you I would say that zoning laws can also be a necessary infringement to protect people’s property. If I buy a house it would suck pretty hard if someone built a polluting factory. But the abuses of zoning are a real problem

Night Call

Really fun French (I think) crime-thriller about an innocent locksmith caught up with criminals and trying to get out. Enjoyed it a lot but caution if you rent it on VOD you’ll get a horrendous dubbed version. I had to buy it to get the original French version as bonus content. Ugh

My verdict after watching them this time was that the performances and characters are so exceptionally good it doesn’t matter much that the stories don’t really make much sense and are littered with plot holes/coincidence. Still I had a great time watching them
