I was just thinking the same thing.

Asking folks to say Trump is not Jesus ought not to be asking that much. Jeez.
Trump keeps doing Antichrist shit. We literally have a Mr. Beast. Feel like Elon fits most of the bill for a False Prophet. I could make so much money if there was an audience for confrontational end times prophecy.
So this past week, my mom discovered Battle Beyond the Stars and was trying to explain the whole movie to me like it wasn’t a foundational movie of my life.
Jesse Lonergan’s love of the comic page shows up on every page of Faster. You can get lost in so many pages of this short comic just trying to unpack what @jesselonergan.bsky.social is doing.

Tomorrow on the site.
I think I may be the only person who liked this story.
Two weeks to remove him. Now.
Dan Watters manages to do something that we haven't seen in a long time-- write a Batman story that isn't really about Batman. Seems like we used to get these all the time but this book feels more about A city's brokenness than it is about a costumed hero and all of his issues.
Cover to Batman Dark Patterns collection.
Batman Dark Patterns was so much better than I thought it could be. Loved how Sherman was channeling both Jim Aparo and Marshall Rogers in this book.
time to break out a classic again, I think
An Easter message from the president which should really force the VP and the cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment.
Trump Truth Social post: "Is Bruce Springsteen going to sue his plastic surgeon?"
This is a real social media post.
The most powerful person in the world is out of his damn mind, and he's leading the U.S. to disaster.
Vote against all Republicans. Reject compliant media. Join the resistance. The generations that come after you will thank you.
It’s been a good week.

Why you don't let an algorithm pick the photo to go with your news article...
So I guess I’m back on the Criterion bandwagon.
This was my biggest problem with Project Hail Mary— it had absolutely nothing to say. Was there any there there? Anything this movie was really trying to communicate? Not really. And that doesn’t have to be woke— just a connection.

The cover of ORION by Ngozi Ukazu. The character Orion walks towards the camera while taking off his helmet while a Kirby dot-filled yellow background surrounds him! DC comics logo in the corner!
A close up on Orion's eye as he peers out from his silver helmet. Crackling omega rays shoot out...
I am so so excited for you guys to see my take on ✨️ORION✨️
Fourth world fans RISE UP! 🌞
It's cool how we all just assume the same horrible thing when we see this headline now.
Wow, I thought Ernie Bushmiller was about to rip on an icon here.
HOWARD CHAYKIN'S AMERICAN FLAGG OMNIBUS WRITER / ARTIST / COVER A / COVER B: Howard Chaykin SEPTEMBER 30 / 0 pages / FC / -- / $10 From its 1983 debut, AMERICAN FLAGG! was a breakout success, emerging from a new generation of small publishers, imprints now lost to history. Award-winning, narratively and graphically audacious, and ridiculously influential, its impact on comic book storytelling is still being felt today, in a story comically—and sometimes frighteningly—prescient about the world in which we live. It got some things wrong, but man, it got a lot more right. A lot. This fully remastered 1,064-page collection includes HOWARD CHAYKIN's run on the series’ first 30 issues—more than half of which have never before been collected—plus the AMERICAN FLAGG! SPECIAL, all the FLAGG! shorts from the years since, and a host of extras, in addition to an all-new 26-page story created for this volume. Collects AMERICAN FLAGG! Vol. 1 #1-30 and the AMERICAN FLAGG! SPECIAL.
CASANOVA COMPENDIUM BOOK 1 TP WRITER: Matt Fraction ARTIST: Gabriel Bá, Gabriel Bautista COVER A: Fábio Moon, Gabriel Bá JUNE 24 / 512 pages / FC / M / $39.99 Casanova Quinn gets ripped out of spacetime, betrays everyone he ever loved, and destroys whole worlds in his wake. But it's okay. Everything's going to be okay. The first four CASANOVA stories are now collected in one massive, brain-melting, idiom-incinerating volume. CASANOVA: We were destroying multiverses before destroying multiverses was cool. Collects CASANOVA: LUXURIA #1-4, CASANOVA: GULA #1-4 and CASANOVA: AVARITIA #1-4.
Every month I look at the Image solicitations and wonder if we'll ever see Casanova again. Even though it's a compendium, I'm thrilled to see Casanova show up.
And an American Flagg Omnibus as well???????
Trump: I’m going to put ICE in the airports, where they will target and arrest all the illegals, especially Somalis, because I hate the Democrats
Headlines: Trump puts ICE officers in airports to ease long lines, provide relief for weary travelers
Incredibly funny that the president of the United States can do this and retain command of the American Armed Forces, but I said it about a literal Nazi and got fired from a job writing superhero comics.
Just a reminder that I did this. (Also, my former boss reminded me that the deal with those Death of Superman cards was that they "disappeared" off the distributor's loading dock.)
It took me six months and two radically different drafts, but here it is. I’m sure I’ll write a book on this one of these days…
