Design was drawn in Procreate and run through an embroidery tool in Substance 3D Sampler to get the look! It's been cool to integrate some of my game art texture workflow into my 2D art.
I know we're all feeling really frustrated lately. My way of dealing with it has been donating to causes that are fighting for my rights, working out so I won't get winded in a crisis, and making art about how I'm feeling.

Last month, the fires in Los Angeles were some of the worst natural disasters in US history.
We set out to donate 100% of our January profits to the LA Food Bank to do our part and help out our community.
With my day job matching the donation, we were able to donate a total of $778!
It's hard doing a creative job and being creative at home. It will come back. I try and focus on what needs aren't being met when I'm feeling that. Am I drinking enough water, getting enough hours of sleep, experiencing things that inspire me? I remind myself to fill my cup before I can empty it.

I couldn't stand the cardstock tokens that came with starter decks. After several iterations with feedback from friends, these might be the most engineered #3d prints I've designed.
They're also a fun fidget to spin with the magnets!
Imposter syndrome is hard as a multi-disciplined artist. Spend a decade honing your skills on one kind of art and the moment you go back to another you don't do as often, and feel like you have no idea what you're doing. Or maybe that's just me.

Stunning work! What's your strategy for making sure your pattern tiles in Procreate, or do you just paint it there and do the tiling in another software? I did something similar ages ago with Photoshop and offsetting the whole canvas.

Probably my favorite prints that I've ever designed is my set of cathedral window coasters.
This started as a test to see how 3 color filament looked in different top layer patterns. The spiral pattern looked like stained glass and this was the natural next step.
