I love having a good stretch, especially when I wake up after a little nap.
Betty thinks my feet look adorable when I stretch.
She says that when she stretches it doesn't reach her feet.
Humans are a bit weird, aren't they?

We are very good at stretching, right down to our toesies!
Happy birthday to a very lovely lady! Enjoy your day, Betty!🎂🎉

I hope you don't mind but today's tweet is about the 4 cats that live next door to Betty and Colin's house.
They jump over the fence and wait by the kitchen door for Betty to give them some treats.
They are very friendly and Betty doesn't mind them coming to see her every day.
I think Robert’s been whispering from the 🌈 allotments into their little ears that a couple of very nice hoomans who love cats live there.

Auntie Pip took this photo of me. I think she was surprised that I didn't run away and hide when I saw her.
I'm very slowly getting used to other humans and I seem to know which ones are going to be kind.
As well as Betty and Colin, I've also got three lovely Aunties who are my friends now.
Janet, from what I can gather here across the water, all the allotment humans are very fond of cats. So I should think you can trust them all. I’m sure Amanda would tell you the same.

It looks like I've got a big tummy - but Betty told me it's called a 'Primordial Pouch'.
She was worried when she first noticed it but some of you knew what it was and told her it's nothing to worry about.
Betty thinks it makes me look even more cute but I'm not so sure.
It gives us flexibility so we can do things like tip-toe around plants or jump up four feet to the top of a dresser. The size varies, though.

I had a bit of a shock when Betty showed me this photo.
What's going on with my whiskers?
They look like they are exploding off my face!
I don't mind, whiskers are useful and I suppose the bigger they are, the better.
Would you be happy to have whiskers like mine?

I look forward to my meals every day but I'm a bit frightened of Maurine and run off when I see him.
Now Colin stays with me while I eat and this stops Maurine from eating my food.
Maurine has his own food on Auntie Sammy's plot but that doesn't stop him from wanting mine.
Maurine could be just as scared of you as you are of him. He’s still new, and still doesn’t realise he will never go hungry at the allotments. I remember when Amanda was new and she was eating every chance she got until she learned. Give him time.
Oh, your whiskers are just fine, dear girl! Maybe a case of “bed whiskers”?

I've got a new friend.
His name is Mike and he came to the veranda to see Mick. (it's confuring, isn't it) He likes cats and he gave me a lot of fuss.
Sometimes humans come to the veranda and they are not used to cats. Betty says I've made a lot of converts.
I hope that's a good thing.
Mike likes cats. Mike likes to fuss over cats. Mike’s a good guy. Be like Mike.
Of course Betty is right. Some plants don’t like the cold. Just line some of cats don’t like it and want our blankies.
Well, that ain’t the Bluebird of Happiness! 😹

Betty's been busy sowing sweetcorn seeds.
She grows a lot because she sells them for charity.
I think humans who grow things from seed need a lot of patience.
I like to keep her company in the Big Greenhouse.
I think she is very impressed that I don't try to walk on the plants.
Betty is a very busy lady, also very good-hearted. I’m sure she enjoys your company whilst she works. I can see more folks growing their own food these days.
Sorta like a catapede?
This be me supervising.
(Betty) SAVING THE ALLOTMENTS - 1 of 2
It's 7 years today since we won our fight to save the allotments.
The Council had planned to close our allotments and use the site as a car park.
Robert led our campaign and came to all our meetings. He was featured in newspapers and on the TV news.
We started following you all about a half year after that. Robert was a special cat! Love the blep. Still cannot believe they wanted to close the Allotments for a car park, of all things. Guess they really didn’t need it since they seem to have managed.
One of my favourites.

Auntie Rachel and I went outside for the photos.
The trees are still full of flowers but they might drop off soon.
At least we've got photos to remind us how pretty they were.
Great photo capture, that’s one for the calendar next year!
True, the flowers always fall, but they’ll be back next year.
Calico cat in front of TV watching Artemis II capsule slashing down.
They couldn’t have done it without our supervision, right?
COL in progress.

What do you think of this?
Someone gave it to Uncle Mick because they didn't want it so he brought it to the allotments and put a plant in it.
I really like it.
I think it's good to use old things instead of throwing them away.
Do you agree?
