I’ve researched a ton of Poison Ivy stories this spring and from 1,000 feet I’d say the biggest difference between the original character in 1966 and now is that she’s gone from Queen Ivy to Boss Ivy.

Yeah DC is like the new legends. Whereas Marvel is more in the tradition of Saturday matinee serials.

What I love about DC is they seem to give writers leeway to tell a great story.

Marvel when I read it seemed very fixated on continuity, which can be both good and bad.

Not all cartoon avi accounts engage in behavior like that.

But almost all behavior like that comes from cartoon avi accounts. 😔

In my experience people with cartoon avis are usually the most eager to discuss how other people look 😔

You get a little bit of that in Persona 3 reload. The earlier version felt more like visiting the local plaza in the burbs 😅

It’s a matter of taste, but I love DC’s focus on mythology and variations of everything.
I started as a Marvel fan but aside from She Hulk I haven’t read much since the early 90s.
Marvel was fixated on continuity, whereas DC has Poison Ivy suddenly growing 5 inches and constantly changing powers💝
