There's definintely more of a culture of Being A Dick on TT - people who clearly aren't the target audience for my Fun Gay Shit complaining about it, that sort of thing. Saying that, the rude people are in the minority, and most of the comments I get are perfectly nice!
hmm it's a bit of a mix. The inbuilt comment filter on TT is pretty robust, which means I see less rude stuff unless I go and check. IG doesn't appear to have that, so shitty comments just come through. The worst comments come through if I'm talking about gender/sexuality, natch.

I post on there semi-regularly for book promo reasons, and I definitely get a few wankers - honestly, just ignore/block/delete comments that are bad. I also occasionally reply to them bcos comments = exposure, so I'll thank 'em for keeping me relevant. 80% of the nice ones I just like and that's it!
