To no one's surprise from my posts, I've always been overtly involved in the furry fandom. That hasn't changed, but I'm probably going to pivot this account much more explicitly toward my writing and reading goals.

I joined a 7-day writing challenge where I have to write a story using three randomly-drawn elements: genre, character, setting.

I hoped it would motivate new ideas/writing and of COURSE I get a cold and am bedridden the day it begins ~.~

i saw Patrick Bateman tearing it up in the club last night during a remix of the Price is Right theme

I hate self-depreciative fantasy writing, the ironic jokes writers cower behind lest we get too close to emotions; any truths that make them feel vulnerable. I hate the meta jokes that the characters should in no way be able to make. Did you feel emotions you stupid idiot? Here's a fetch quest joke.
