Yo! The transparency issue isn't quite a Cycles rendering issue. If you have an image with alpha (transparency), you can connect the image node's alpha to the shader node's alpha. You just have to make sure you're in rendered view to see it! There are other ways too using color masks! [ ^ ^ ]

Used FreeCAD for the first time yesterday and made this little desk organizer that I'm currently 3D printing. The irl pic is of a previous design without a honeycomb mesh.

It was so difficult, but it came out so clean! CAD software is so different from Blender -- I had a lot of fun haha
